Little Red Riding Hood (Ellie P2)

World Book Day

The pupils and staff had great fun yesterday on World Book Day. Staff and pupils dressed up as their favourite character from a book. The children also decorated a potato at home as their favourite book character. Our winners of the Potato Competition were Ellie Ong, P2, Jon Taylor, P5 and Caitlin Mair, P6. Well done to them. Their potatoes were amazing!
We had a World Book Assembly. Alan our janitor, told us about his favourite book and Sue from the church also told us about her favourite book.

World Book Day

We had 5 very special visitors at our school today!

Mary and David came along to our school assembly today with their guide dogs. Mary came along with her guide dog, Nelson and David came with two puppy guide dogs which he is training called Perry and Squiggly.

Aimee and Owen both sponsor a guide dog for the blind.  What a great thing to do!

World Book Day 6.3.14

We will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday. Remember you can come to school dressed up as your favourite character and you can decorate a potato as your favourite character! Please remember to take along your favourite book to school on Thursday.

Well done Reece Carson!

Reece’s baton design made it through to the next round of the Aberdeen Youth Group’s Baton Competition. Reece went to the Gray’s School of Art last week to make a 3D design of his baton.
