High School Induction

Miss Devine would like to know what you would like to do during the 3 days you will spend at the High School in June. She wants you to make the very best use of your time there so that you are ready to start your secondary education for real in August.

Please leave me a comment and I’ll pass all of your suggestions onto Miss Devine. Primary 6 can give their ideas too.

  1. I would like to get shown around the classes that I would be in in S1.

I would also like to to do some of the hard things we would be doing so I don’t find out that it’s so hard when I actually go to High School!

    Thank-you! 🙂

  2. I’t would be good if we could meet the teachers that will be teaching us in our first year of high school

  3. Iona -I would like to get shown around the high school so I know where most of the things are because I am worried getting lost because it’s a big school.

Gavin – make an animation about moving from primary school to high school.

Diane-I think you should get a map of the high school so i dont get lost.

Iona – I would like to do some of the hardest subjects so I don’t find them hard when I actually go to high school!

  4. Hi Theo, yes I think it would be great to even make a film about your primary school and then the second half could be at high school and this could have elements of animation too.

  5. Yes James, I’ll pass that onto Miss Devine and Miss Hamilton and try to find out for you when we are likely to hear. I do think though that you will probably be in the same clan as Iona.

  6. I think that we should be shown around and do some fun tasks so that the class will get to know eachother better.

  7. Well done Kilmartin PS. I’m going to do something similar with the Primary Schools that come to Elgin Academy. This blog is just one of many ways to keep the home/school links going and makes it so much easier for you and your parents to see what’s going on at school (and what you are up to!)
