The Broad General Technical Course is designed to give pupils the experience and opportunity to:

·         Develop their skills in practical work

·         Become confident users of design software to generate and enhance their ideas

·         Develop skills in planning work and solving problems.

·         Use a wide range of machine and hand tools to manufacture items from wood, metal and plastic

·         Learn and understand relevant technical and design terminology

In addition to the skills based courses in S1 & 2, pupils are introduced to the format of the Senior Phase in S3.
