Computing Science National 4

There are three units to complete in CS National 4 but no end of course written assessment. In the Software Design and Development unit, learners will develop basic computational thinking and programming skills through practical tasks using appropriate software development environments across a range of contemporary contexts. In the Information System Design and Development unit, learners will implement practical solutions using appropriate development tools to create databases, web-based information systems, multimedia information systems. The added value unit requires the learner to apply skills and knowledge from the other units to analyse and solve a computing science problem.
