Focus artwork: Spider by Louise Bourgeois<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today we explored the work of Louise Bourgeois looking at scale, emotions and memories in art work. We had a go at creating sculptures using only newspapers to explore scale- tiny and huge. The children developed and communicated their ideas, demonstrated imagination and presented at least one possible solution to a design problem. Everyone responded to the work of Bourgeois by discussing their thoughts and feelings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
