We have been learning song lyrics and script parts<\/li>\n<li>Visiting our Nursery buddies at Bathgate West Nursery<\/li>\n<li>Learning the perfect conditions needed to incubate chicken eggs<\/li>\n<li>Developing skills to collect, organise and interpret data through tally charts, bar graphs, line graphs and pie charts<\/li>\n<li>Labelling parts of a circle using mathematical vocabulary such a circumference, diameter, radius, sector, segment and chord<\/li>\n<li>Identifying the features of 3D shapes including faces, vertices and edges<\/li>\n<li>Understanding how to structure a procedural text using our science topic of Space as a theme e.g. \u201cHow to Become an Astronaut\u201d and \u201cHow to Brush your Teeth in Space.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Creating line drawings of astronauts using pencil to create depth and shading<\/li>\n<li>Researching scientific theories about the structure of Earth e.g is the earth flat or round and how do we know?<\/li>\n<li>We had a visit from a group of scientists to teach us about bodily functions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since returning from our Easter break we have been busy; Preparing for our upcoming class assembly.
