Hello everyone,<\/p>\n

We have had a wonderful week at school A big highlight for us was getting the chance to meet 2 Scottish Authors. We had an online Teams session with write Tom Nicoll as he discussed with us his love for gaming that inspired his ‘Level – Up’\u00a0 book series. C & A love gaming so were really inspired by this!<\/p>\n

We also had a chance to meet in person – Paul Walsh, another local Scottish writer. He shared his story ‘The Mcscarfs’ and brought along his guitar for an enjoyable singalong. B & C were thrilled to purchase a copy of his book. Miss Purdie also got a signed book to keep in the class!<\/p>\n

Big congratulations to B & A for getting to the finals of the Scots poetry competition and well done to B who came 3rd out of p2 – p4<\/p>\n

Well done to K, C & F for being the top 3 in our home learning Sumdog competition \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
