Numeracy\u00a0& Maths\u2013 In numeracy we have been learning about decimals.\u00a0\u00a0We\u00a0learned to\u00a0multiply,\u00a0divide\u00a0and\u00a0round decimals.\u00a0In\u00a0Maths we have been measuring\u00a0the\u00a0weight\u00a0of objects.\u00a0The teacher passed around\u00a0weights for us to touch.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Literacy\u00a0– In\u00a0Literacy we have been\u00a0writing\u00a0book\u00a0reviews of our\u00a0favourite books, for\u00a0Scottish\u00a0Book\u00a0Week.\u00a0We also\u00a0created\u00a0World War 2\u00a0fact files. In our fact files we\u00a0had a pretend suitcase\u00a0to put our things in if we were\u00a0evacuees.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

P.E – We were practising the slosh dance, for our Christmas party. P6 enjoyed doing parkour.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Topic \u2013 In Topic we are learning about\u00a0World War 2. We drew\u00a0timelines of the war and learnt about evacuees.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

French \u2013 In French we have been learning to\u00a0ask and answer\u00a0`where do you live?\u2019\u00a0and `my name is \u2026\u2019 and classroom instructions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Health & Wellbeing \u2013 In Health &\u00a0Wellbeing the class has\u00a0been learning about the Earth Shot prize and COP26.\u00a0In the\u00a0Earth Shot prize\u00a0lesson\u00a0we were\u00a0listening to the nominations for the Revive Our Oceans Prize and discussing which one we would choose to win. For COP26 we were learning what it meant.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Scratch \u2013 Every week we have a\u00a0live teams\u00a0meeting to code along with a\u00a0professional\u00a0coder.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

P6w tuned in to a Money Matters online lesson, with other\u00a0p6 classes and\u00a0realised\u00a0the\u00a0extent of money.\u00a0We learned\u00a0whether or not\u00a0deals were\u00a0really worth it\u00a0and different ways that we spend money<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As Part of the COP26 Summit, we joined a live streaming of a performance of The Lorax Live.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fairy Doors \u2013 In the woods we chose a decent tree to put our\u00a0fairy doors on\u00a0to create a fairy trail for younger children to follow.\u00a0They look\u00a0really beautiful.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On the Friday before\u00a0Hallowe\u2019en\u00a0we had a class party.\u00a0 We did a dance along, spider races, apple\u00a0dooking,\u00a0Satsuma decorating and Hallowe\u2019en\u00a0Kahoots.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We also carried out research to help us decide what to make for\u00a0our\u00a0Christmas Enterprise and then we voted on our favourite idea<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
