We have enjoyed coming back to school and settling into our new classroom.<\/p>\n
Our class novel was Esio Trot which was about a tortoise and a man who was in love with its owner.\u00a0 It was quite funny!<\/p>\n
In topic we have been learning about houses.\u00a0 We were interested in the materials that houses are made of, so we looked at the story of The Three Little Pigs.\u00a0 We have designed the 3 little pigs houses and, working in groups, have designed 3D houses of our own!\u00a0 We have also been estate agents selling the houses for the 3 little pigs which was fun.<\/p>\n
In numeracy we have been counting on and back in 1’s and 10’s.\u00a0 We enjoyed making number lines and hopscotch with chalk.\u00a0 We have started looking at the value of a number.\u00a0 Making robots to show our understanding was fun!<\/p>\n
In literacy we are practicing our blends.\u00a0 We made rockets to practice ck and elephants to practise ph.\u00a0 In writing we have been describing our own houses and our dream houses using lots of fantastic describing words.<\/p>\n
