our final blog post of 2020! What an interesting year it has been! P4M would like to share their learning with you.<\/p>\n
TG would like share that we made Dreidels to celebrate Hanukkah.\u00a0 This was part of our festivals topic.\u00a0 It was fun and tricky.\u00a0 WS enjoyed making these too! Through topic, BM enjoyed making some calendars for 2021 as we learned all about Scottish Hogmanay.\u00a0 SK knows we have learned about lots of different festivals and celebrations.\u00a0 Her favourite part was making some Thanksgiving turkeys!<\/p>\n
KM would like to share we have been having Mandarin lessons.\u00a0 She liked learning about Chinese New Year.\u00a0 MS has been enjoying these too.\u00a0 MM has enjoyed learning the Mandarin numbers.\u00a0 JD has enjoyed learning about the numbers too.<\/p>\n
JB enjoyed learning about addition and subtraction in numeracy.\u00a0 He enjoyed the written method and just liked it. LR enjoyed this too and enjoyed learning how to carry.\u00a0 HH feels she has become more confident in addition and subtraction.\u00a0 MW wants to explore addition and subtraction further.<\/p>\n
AC enjoyed creating different genres of narrative stories.\u00a0 We wrote fairy tales, sci-fi and spooky stories.\u00a0 ZC feels he has made lots of progress in writing.<\/p>\n
RM has enjoyed learning about time and learning things about analogue clocks.\u00a0 LM also enjoyed learning about time.\u00a0 LR is feeling more confident when telling the time.<\/p>\n
LB would like to tell you about our Christmas enterprise where we\u00a0 made festive facemasks.\u00a0 We made adverts, we designed a prototype, persuasive advertising posters and we knew we were selling them to make a profit.<\/p>\n
EB would like to tell you that we learned some Christmas sign language on our vertical learning day.\u00a0 We learned the song ,’We wish you a Merry Christmas’.\u00a0 On our vertical learning day, NB enjoyed making some gingerbread houses in a STEM challenge.<\/p>\n
EF has learned all about metaphors and similes.<\/p>\n
SB has been enjoying health and wellbeing lessons where we have been learning to celebrate our differences.<\/p>\n
FP would like to tell you about our NYCOS lessons.\u00a0 We have been learning about rhythm and beat.\u00a0 She knows a single sound is called ta and a double sound is called te te.<\/p>\n
