P.E (Luka, Lucas, Ben, Chloe, Haaris, Jaysen)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe have been learning handball and bench-ball.\u00a0 Currently we are doing a P5 handball tournament.\u00a0 We have been doing circuits with Miss Howard such as \u2018spin the pin\u2019 to work on our stamina and accuracy\u201d<\/p>\n

Numeracy & Maths (Olivia, Logan, Enrique, Chloe, Eilidh, Zak)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are learning the bus stop method for division and we are also practising our times tables through our home learning task.\u00a0 Also, we have been learning fractions, calculating money for money month, writing and estimating length in cm and mm and calculating time durations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Literacy (Fynn, Ryan, Callum, Leo, Kayla)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIn writing we created an 11th<\/sup> World\u2019s Worst Child and also wrote to include an atmosphere.\u00a0 We also in Literacy filled in the missing words in a text using our knowledge of context clues and we were skimming and scanning a text to answer questions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Art (Josh, Stella, Arran, Rocio, Cooper, Fraser)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe have been using watercolours to create a sunset.\u00a0 We mixed red paint with glue and sand to make Peruvian (Nazca lines) sand pictures linked to our topic.\u00a0 We have been making other Peruvian Art, like drawing llamas which we used inspiration from Peruvian clothing.\u00a0 We made Christmas wreaths for our poster in the hall with 1, 4 or 5 candles which revised our accurate cutting skills and detail.\u201d<\/p>\n

Topic (Rose, Jessica, Cody, T.J. Aiden, Boyd, Fia)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cLast term our topic was the America\u2019s and now it\u2019s the Rainforest.\u00a0 We are just beginning this Rainforest topic.\u00a0 In our topic \u201cThe Americas\u201d we are working on projects on any country we choose.\u00a0 Some of those countries could be Mexico, USA, Peru, Columbia, Canada or Brazil.\u00a0 When we were learning about Columbia we learnt about the coffee bean process.\u00a0 First beans are berries which are picked.\u00a0 Then the beans are peeled and ground into coffee powder.\u00a0 Finally you add boiling water or maybe milk and then you have your coffee.\u00a0 Some tribes from the Americas are the Incas, Mayans and the Aztecs.\u201d<\/p>\n
