Here is a little snapshot of what we have been up to in P3m =]TOPIC<\/p>\n
Lucy – I have made my own fact file about Africa. I have been creating mind maps to help me remember the information.<\/p>\n
Cara \u2013 I chose to write about Camels.\u00a0 I researched Camels and I found out that the word Camel means Beauty in Arabic.<\/p>\n
Allegra \u2013 We have been using chalks to draw Lions. We used rainbow colours.<\/p>\n
Callum S \u2013 I have been learning about the Goliath Frog. It is the biggest frog in the world.<\/p>\n
Eden \u2013 I have been working on my African Presentation and I am looking forward to sharing it with the class.<\/p>\n
NUMERACY AND MATHS<\/p>\n
Ruaridh \u2013 We have been learning about fractions.\u00a0 Tenths, thirds, halves, wholes, fifths, quarters and three quarters.<\/p>\n
Lucas \u2013 We have been measuring water and learning about capacity.<\/p>\n
Erika \u2013 We have been learning how to read scales when measuring liquids.<\/p>\n
Gracie \u2013 We made some fractions in pizza boxes and delivered them around the school.<\/p>\n
PE<\/p>\n
Jake \u2013 We have been doing Orienteering. We have learned how to read a map and use symbols.<\/p>\n
William \u2013 We have been running a marathon. Our goal is to run a marathon by the end of term.\u00a0 So far I have ran over half a marathon.<\/p>\n
Gracie \u2013 We have been doing hurdles. We had to run and jump over the hurdles without knocking them over.<\/p>\n
LITERACY<\/p>\n
Ana \u2013 I have been learning how to write a summary.<\/p>\n
Lauren \u2013 In spelling we have been learning the split digraph e-e. I can read and write lots of e-e words.<\/p>\n
Alana \u2013 In French we have been learning about what they eat in schools in France and we are learning fruit and vegetable words.<\/p>\n
Lewis \u2013 In French we have learned what a school lunch menu looks like in France.<\/p>\n
Erika \u2013 We have made our own books about Africa and we put all our writing in the book.<\/p>\n
Skills Academy<\/p>\n
Oakley \u2013 We went up to P4 and learned how to chop fruit.<\/p>\n
William \u2013 We were learning how to set a table properly for two people.<\/p>\n
Jessica D \u2013 We learned how to fold clothes and hang washing up.<\/p>\n
Evan \u2013 We learned how to tie various knots with shoe laces and neck ties.<\/p>\n
