All this week the children coming along to our Breakfast Club were trying new things as part of the Breakfast Week ‘Shake Up Your Wake Up’. Breakfast included fruit juices, pain au chocolat, croissants, ham and cheese, fresh pancakes, homemade fritatta, a selection of bagels, eggy bread, cereal, fruits and yogurts. Staff and Parents were also encouraged to come along and join in.<\/p>\n

Breakfast replenishes glucose levels, an essential carbohydrate that is needed for the brain to work properly. \u00a0Studies have shown that eating breakfast can improve concentration and recall and it can also change our mood,\u00a0lowering stress levels and making us happier. \u00a0It has even been linked to improvement in attainment and behaviour. \u00a0For the brain to work at its best it needs energy, so start your day with a good breakfast.
