I would like to thank all of the parents and grandparents who came to our open afternoon on Thursday. The children thoroughly enjoyed showing you what they had been learning and it was great to see so many parents having fun as they joined in the activities. I look forward to working with you and your children this year.

The children have settled into school well and appear to be enjoying all of the new challenges that they are encountering. We have already been learning about numbers and letters as well as learning  all about the Golden Rules. The highlight of this week was when  Charlie the puppet came to the school assembly on Friday.

Just a wee reminder that our gym days are a Wednesday (outdoor) and a Thursday (indoor). The children thoroughly enjoyed both of these sessions this week.  Miss Andrew and I would appreciate your co-operation on these days. You could help by putting your child’s name on all items of clothing and by putting a polo shirt on them instead of  shirt and tie.
