Rhyme
Rhyme is so important for understanding words and helping with early reading skills. In nursery we play simple rhyme games to broaden children’s awareness and understand of rhyming words. We describe rhyming words as “words that sound the same.”
Here is an idea of a simple rhyme activity you can do in the house. You can use anything…food, tins, crockery, mats etc.
