Charlotte made her own book using the resources in the latest peep pack. March was all about books and celebrating World Book Day. Super job Charlotte!

Outdoor Learning
Last week some of us went out on a scavenger hunt, collecting twigs, stones, leaves and pine cones. We then used these to make our own twig skeleton.
Here are some of describing words-
Josh- “it tickles” (fir tree)
Madison- “it feels like a banana” (cone)
Alfie- “the cone is spikey”
Kyle & Cody- “hard” (stone)
Callum- “strong” (stone)
Sharing PEEP
What a fantastic Elmer model Sinead has made, using the ideas from the February PEEP pack. Well Done!
Fun at the Park
On Tuesday afternoon, some of us enjoyed going for a walk to the park. We played together and had a picnic snack as well!
Sharing Super Work
One of our friends did some fantastic work, creating her own number line to display in the nursery. Sophie worked independently to create these! Great job!
Emotion Stones
Some of us have been using emotion and expression stones to talk about our feelings and create our feelings through facial expressions.
Constellations
We have been recreating the constellations Ursula Minor, The Plough and Orion using chickpeas and cocktail sticks. We were finding this really tricky as the chickpeas kept breaking when we pushed the cocktail stick into them but we persevered and successfully managed to recreate the image.
Planting
The children have been planting bulbs to grow flowers in the nursery. They had to follow the pictorial instructions, following the number sequence of these, to successfully complete the task. We were able to choose from two different types of flowers and it will be interesting to see what they look like when they grow. (All children have had the opportunity to take part in this activity, so keep and eye out over the next few weeks to see their individual photos on their Learners Journal.)
Climbing and Balancing
We have had a great time exploring different ways to use our bodies, while being safe as we climb and balance, using the wall and the trim tack!
