Hey everyone happy Friday!! Hope you’ve had a great week and stayed safe as it’s been wet and wild out there.
We have had another busy week learning about Valentines day, how to stay safe during this storm and why they have “funny” names (haha!) and being chefs. In nursery we have also been outside experiencing the storms and making sure our garden is safe and clear.
Come check out our busy week and hopefully it doesn’t blow you away…
Storm whatever it’s name is…
We have had such a good wee week playing in the garden while the storm has been here, the 90mph winds didn’t stop us. As it was very windy, we made our own kites from string and bags, this is something you could do at home if you do venture out into the storm this weekend. As a group, we spoke about different storms the world can experience from tornados to hurricanes and even how the begin which was a very interesting discussions – who knows we could see some of our lot working at the Met Office…
That rain was hammering our garden this week which was a bonus because it gave us HUGE puddles that we could all jump in – our wellies has taken a beaten that day!! Hide – in – seek has been such a popular game in nursery which we have been playing outside, it has been showing us that our wee group are very sneaky at finding they great hiding spots. Also, it has been increasing there numeracy skills as we have been counting from 0-10 and even 0-20.
