There has been some fantastic work with nursery rhymes going on this week! A lot of children have enjoyed using props to create different nursery rhymes independently or together with their friends.
Nursery rhymes are great for a variety of literacy skills, but most importantly reading skills! Nursery rhymes help children hear the rhythm of our language and the syllables within our words which in turn help us learn to read.
