{"id":9382,"date":"2020-05-22T07:43:11","date_gmt":"2020-05-22T07:43:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/uphallprimary\/?p=9382"},"modified":"2020-05-22T07:43:11","modified_gmt":"2020-05-22T07:43:11","slug":"p2-friday-22nd-may","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/uphallprimary\/2020\/05\/22\/p2-friday-22nd-may\/","title":{"rendered":"P2- Friday 22nd May"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Good Morning Everyone!<\/p>\n<p>Today we have our school assembly\u00a0 which will be at 10am.\u00a0 If you have an older sibling in P4-7 you will be able to watch with them through TEAMS.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Literacy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/public\/uphallprimary\/uploads\/sites\/3034\/2020\/05\/21161913\/Cat-in-the-Hat.jpg\" width=\"220\" height=\"306\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Today we are going to listen to a Cat in the Hat story about money.\u00a0 It\u2019s an American book so, although it describes\u00a0<em>American<\/em>\u00a0currency (not British), it\u2019s still funny to listen to the rhyming words and learn about the history of money.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zgkMUaiOuqQ\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zgkMUaiOuqQ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>After listening to the story, think about these questions.\u00a0 You can answer them by telling someone, writing down your answers in your jotter or on a piece of paper.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Did you learn anything new\/interesting about the history of money?<\/li>\n<li>Find out about the history of British money. Write down at least three facts you have learned (below is a template to get you stared).<\/li>\n<li>If you haven\u2019t done so already, look at the money grid.
