Please also see the timetable sent home in your learning pack for more details.<\/p>\n<p><u>Literacy<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our new sound today is \u2018sh\u2019.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Say the sound, can you identify which part of your mouth you use to make the sound? (note for parents it is made with the flat centre of the tongue and is a green colour)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Can you think of any words that use the \u2018sh\u2019 sound?<\/li>\n<li>Does the \u2018sh\u2019 sound come at the start, the middle or the end of these words?<\/li>\n<li>Slide some sounds together to form words:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ship, shop, shed, shut, sheet, sheep, shell, shelf, shark<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Now write these words and draw a picture to match (extension activity-write sentences containing the words)<\/li>\n<li>Videos to look at:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=HfMtsRVZWfE\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=HfMtsRVZWfE<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0 (song)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=2ncQwQZJ47E\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=2ncQwQZJ47E<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0 (alphablocks)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>Numeracy<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To help you with your counting you could make your own counting stick or pick one of your soft toys to be a swinging counting buddy\u00a0 (just like Mrs McKay\u2019s counting monkey).<\/li>\n<li>Create your own linked fact families for numbers 1,2,3,4 and 5 (you will be able to write 2 addition and 2 subtraction stories for each number (apart from 4) just like we discussed when we made our number robots).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i.pinimg.com\/originals\/c6\/0f\/3c\/c60f3cc70a664583d8a9589521b2e075.jpg\" alt=\"Image result for addition and subtraction linked facts house\" width=\"166\" height=\"221\" \/><\/p>\n<p><u>PE<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Get active!
