Hopefully this has equipped you all with plenty of literature to read!<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re not in school today, but that doesn&#8217;t mean we cannot celebrate World Book Day!\u00a0 Here is a list of activities that you could try out to join in the fun:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Get cosied up with a book<\/li>\n<li>Create a book character from snow<\/li>\n<li>Re-create the setting or an event from a book (you could use snow, lego&#8230; your imagination is the limit!)<\/li>\n<li>Re-tell your favourite book as a comic strip (you could use this <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/uphallprimary\/2018\/03\/01\/p6-7-world-snow-oops-i-mean-book-day\/comic-strip-book-task\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5484\">Comic Strip Book Task<\/a> or create your own)<\/li>\n<li>Design a front cover and blurb for your favourite book<\/li>\n<li>Watch a film adaptation of a book you have read and compare and contrast it to the book<\/li>\n<li>Prepare for the book character &#8216;Hot Seat&#8217; challenge (see homework Task 1 for more details)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you can take pictures of your snow characters or book scenes, I would love to see them, and I&#8217;m sure your classmates would too.\u00a0 You could bring them in to school or upload them to your Student Story on Class Dojo.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy the snow and please stay safe and warm,<\/p>\n<p>Mrs Hare \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, this is certainly not how we were expecting to spend World Book Day!\u00a0 I feel like I&#8217;ve been transported to Narnia!
