I hope you are making the most of the snow and have all managed to get out and have some fun!<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately we have missed our library visit today but hopefully we will get it rescheduled.<\/p>\n<p>Below are some activities which you can choose to complete. \u00a0It would be great to see some pictures of you taking part in these; post them on our school twitter page or bring them into school with you when you return. \u00a0Remember to tag \u2018P6\u2019 in your twitter post.<\/p>\n<p>Stay safe and warm, and most importantly, have lots of fun!<\/p>\n<p>From Mrs Sinclair<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mathematics\/Numeracy<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Challenge yourself to learn a times table that you are not yet confident with<\/li>\n<li>Visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timestables.co.uk\">timestables.co.uk<\/a> , <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ictgames.com\">www.ictgames.com<\/a> , <a href=\"http:\/\/www.topmarks.com\">www.topmarks.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Head over to Sumdog \u2013 everyone has their username and password (sumdog.com)<\/li>\n<li>Or try countdown at home, can you beat the adults?:\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nrich.maths.org\/6499\">https:\/\/nrich.maths.org\/6499<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Measure how much snow you have every hour to compare snow fall throughout the day. Record your measurements \u2013 table\/graph<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Literacy:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Watch Newsround and write a report about the story that interests you the most. You might have to carry out some further research. Forget snowmen, I know how creative you can all be!<\/li>\n<li>Find out what the weather forecast is. Record this and see if the prediction is correct?<\/li>\n<li>Help an adult clear snow off a driveway\/path<\/li>\n<li>Try some baking (Always ask an adult first).
