P7 Learning

We have been doing lots of activity based on the Romans and our class novel is based in the Roman Times.

In writing we have been learning about persuasive writing.Also in our writing we have been using statistics,emotional language and lots more techniques.

In P.E we have been playing Bench Ball and Dodge Ball(written by Jennifer Frater from the newsletter group).

Mrs Bennet-Palmer Class Learning.

Mrs Bennet-Palmer’s class topic is the vikings and they drew KWL grids.

In maths they have been learning about magic numbers aswell as practicing.

In writing they have been writing in paragraphs and writing about their Easter holidays.

In P.E they have been playing tig for their warm up and they have been learning to play Volleyball.(written by the newsletter group).

Miss Mack Topic

Miss Mack’s class topic is about bridges and they have also been practicing times tables.

Nursery New Term And Achievments.

The nursery have been learning about spring and how plants grow,they have also been doing Easter activities.

Kaitlyn Howard ran 3 kilometers for sport relief and Leah Glass moved up to a brown belt in Taekwon-do and won a medal for best technique.[written by the newsletter group].

P4 Term 3 Blog Update

Sky – Uphall won the Sky Sports cup! We had an amazing day with lots of activities and a gymnastics display! One of our favourite activities was building a huge tower out of cups and seeing how high we could build it.

 

Assembly – Our class assembly was based on world weather climates and forecasts. We ‘travelled’ to the Sahara Desert, the Amazon Rainforest and the Arctic Circle! We worked really hard learning our lines! Thank you to everyone who came to watch – we hope you enjoyed it.

 

Bench Ball Tournament – We competed in a bench ball tournament at Broxburn Academy against lots of other schools. We won a few games but could do with more practice! Well done to everyone who took part!
