A Week in The Hub

A week in the hub

On Monday the 23rd of November Ross reached his goal on hit the button. He got a brilliant score of 50 and when he got it he was the happiest person in the room because he had been trying and trying but a lot of close attempts the time came he finally got it.

On Tuesday the 24th of November Miss Swift introduced our new topic which is dragons den. She gave us the challenge of designing board games using magnetic stuff like paper clips compasses toy cars.

Thursday the 26th of November we were learning about different types of fraud. We were walking around the classroom trying to find evidence on paper about bank fraud and seeing if it was if it was evidence or not. We are continuing it on Friday and throughout next week.

Throughout this whole week we have been working on our door display about the giraffe the Pelly and me which has been really fun.

We also had the first star winner in the school, learned about directions using the beebots and set up our own post office.

This Week in The Hub ……

We have had a raffle ticket winner’s lunch (with guests), created nature art, worked co-operatively to design and build an adventure park, found a pumpkin seed growing in one of our plants and rearranged some of the furniture to make our space more open and accessible. We have also created some winter art for our room divider, learned basketball skills, and contributed to BBC Children in Need. Our class novel is helping us with our listening and prediction skills. We have also used the Zones of Regulation to help explain our feelings, and learned how to care for ourselves. Oh, not forgetting Mrs Sutherland learning how to upload a video!

Have a lovely weekend everyone,

Ms Delaney, Mrs Stevenson, Mrs Sutherland and Miss Swift
