It was a very exciting day in Primary 1. Not only did we get to wear something festive, but we also had our Christmas lunch today. As you can see, we have had great fun!

Today the primary 6 and 7 children received a visit from Quality Meats Scotland and took part in some cooking.  The children helped prepare beef fajitas and enjoyed tasting them afterwards.  They also had a talk about the different food groups and the benefits of eating a healthy balanced diet.

P5 enjoyed wearing Christmas jumpers today and dressing up in Christmas attire.  Thank you very much for your kind donations to Children in Need.

We have been learning all about Neanderthals in P4C today. We are reading the book, “Little Nose the Leader” by John Grant.

We decided to make a woolly mammoth for display because Little Nose has a pet woolly mammoth called Two Eyes. It’s fabulous. Thanks to Laurie for helping to draw the trunk.

The total raised by the school was a whopping £1,500.  Thank you to everyone who contributed.
