A busy week in Nursery
The children have had a busy week. Parents were invited to have a ‘Stay and Play’ time in nursery and the children were excited to show them around the different areas and have them joining in with their play.
Also last week the children were involved in making shortbread biscuits and cupcakes to give to the P7 children to sell as they were running a stall to raise money for Children in Need. The children were able to turn take, follow instructions and develop their numeracy skills by helping to weigh out the ingredients.

We had a carousel discussing in groups what we thought each word meant. We have looked at picture of rubbish and the affect it has on our animals. We have also watched a video about where rubbish goes. We have also been. Learning what the 3 R’s mean and we have been sorting out items and finding solutions to problems. This weeks problem was what should we do with Miss Anderson’s old duvet cover? The class decided to make it into dress up capes! So we created our own designs.
