We were very pleased to meet our adopted seal this morning. He was delivered to Mrs Sutherland’s house during the holidays and he is our Christmas present from our teacher. He comes from the Scottish Wildlife Trust and Archie thought of a brilliant name for him – Salty, because he lives in the sea and his name has the same sound at the beginning as “seal”.

We are taking it in turns to have him for a night at our own houses but we must bring him back to school to look after him.

Beauty and the  Beast!

What an amazing trip to New Lanark we had!

We saw the snowman film, got to take a ride on the spirit on Christmas ride, had a workshop about toys from the past and then we all got to meet Santa! 🎅🏻

Each child got a book and a soft toy!  It was a fabulous day out!
