I can sketch a picture of a bird.
As I have been at home a lot recently, I have become quite fascinated with the birds in my garden. I am trying to capture them on camera but they keep flying away before I can get close. It gave me an idea – to try and draw some. I have made a start sketching one.
Here is a photo I did manage to capture.
Have you seen any birds? Try to sketch one. You may wish to use pencil or black pen like you do at school. You can colour it in, if you wish.

Here is an activity you could play with your child/children. The children enjoy playing this in the nursery. It is a memory game. Put together a small selection of household objects on a table. Let your child look at them for about 30 seconds and then cover them over. See if your child can name some of the objects which are covered over. An alternative to this is to take 1 object away and see
if they can recognise which object is missing.
