P6/7 class got off to a good start this year by making lava lamps in Science.  Christopher brought in some instructions on how to make one and we worked in groups to make our own.  Amazing what can be done with some vegetable oil and food colouring!

This week P6/7 took part in an online maths challenge which was run across all the schools in West Lothian.  The class finished a fantastic 2nd place and also was the daily winner for the competition on Tuesday.  A special well done to Cameron who finished in 2nd place as an individual winner from all the contestants.  Keep up the great maths work!

Well done to all the children in the P6/7 class who performed brilliantly today in their class assembly.  The children shared their learning from Term 1 and spoke about their trip to the Sky Academy Skills Studio.  They also showed their 6 minute TV report that they made all about fairness in sport.

Well done to all the P6 children that took part in this year’s Cluster Cross Country Event.  Everyone finished the course and ran with 100% effort.  A special well done to Kerys for coming 2nd in the girls race and Emma who finished 3rd in the girls race.   Fabulous!
