P6H had a Victorian School day last week. The children came dressed to school in Victorian outfits and learned their 3 Rs – Reading, Writing and Arithmetic. The children were all very well behaved and enjoyed the whole experience. Mrs Hunter enjoyed it too!
Congratulations to the 16 pupils that were awarded their certificates and badges this morning for passing level 1 of the Bikeability scheme. Happy cycling!
Today all the P6 children took part in a cluster cross country event at Kirkhill Primary. Everyone managed to complete the course successfully and the boys even managed a first place position. Well done!
This week in class the Primary 6H pupils have been learning about decimals. They have been working with tenths and can sequence them, count forward and back and also add and subtract using them. We used concrete materials initially to help with our understanding of the concept.
The P6H children have started their Bikeability Level 1 for their outdoor PE this term. The children can carry out a bike safety check and ensure their helmets fit correctly.
