The P6 classes had a visit from the Museum Services today and were learning about the Victorians. They were able to handle some artefacts and dress in some Victorian clothes.

P6B
We have been adding in the thousands for some revision this week. We have also been practising our dictionary skills by looking up the definitions of our new spelling words.

P6B – Term 1
We managed to master dividing by 100. We learned how to multiply by 150. We learned how to write a story and to look up the definition of our spelling words in the dictionary.

Screen Printing in P6B
Primary 6B were learning about screen printing and how to create multiple copies of the same image. First, they had to create a template and then use the screen and paint to create the screen printed copy.
P6B time travel
Today P6B travelled back in time to 1894 to experience a day at a Victorian school. We had lessons on the three “Rs”. We used slates and when our writing was neat enough we were allowed to use pen and ink. Most of us enjoyed having drill in the playground!
