Last term we learned about Mary Queen of Scots. We know that she got married three times and that she got executed at the age of 44. We were also learning about rural and urban areas.

Yesterday P4 attended the cluster benchball tournament at Broxburn Academy. The class had a fantastic time and showed true team spirit and sportsmanship. Well done to all the children who participated and represented the school in such a wonderful way.
Primary 4 had a creative outdoor learning morning on Monday. We discussed how to use natural materials to make pictures and showed good teamwork. Look at our haunted mansions, rockets and skeletons!
When the word “good” just won’t do, try a synonym instead! I spent Friday morning with these sharp cookies and I am VERY impressed. We learned about synonyms and how they can improve our writing. What a superb vocabulary the children have and I am also really pleased with how well they worked together. Thank you for having me P4S, you’re all superstars! From Mrs Kinnear
