This week we have been practising our handwriting, finding words in the dictionary, rainbow writing our spelling words and creating words from clues!  Look at our busy learning!

We have been learning alphabetical order over the last month or so. This week we pushed our learning further by learning how to use a dictionary. What fun we had working in trios!

The need for speed when it’s a competition! 😁

We have been learning about our new topic – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

We had a carousel discussing in groups what we thought each word meant. We have looked at picture of rubbish and the affect it has on our animals. We have also watched a video about where rubbish goes.  We have also been. Learning what the 3 R’s mean and we have been sorting out items and finding solutions to problems. This weeks problem was what should we do with Miss Anderson’s old duvet cover? The class decided to make it into dress up capes! So we created our own designs.
