Dear Parents/Carers

I would like to inform you that unfortunately we are unable to receive Christmas cards or hand cards out for you this year.  If you would like to share your Christmas greetings please feel free to upload your message on your child’s learning journal or a photo of your child holding the card and we can print them and display them in our ELC.

The children have had lots of fun this week exploring winter and of course throwing snowballs around the garden!

Re: Christmas

We have decided that we will have a party week leading up to Christmas.  Your child can come dressed in their party clothes any day or every day during week beginning the 14^th of December.  We will provide lovely activities, party games, festive stories and some lovely party food.

Although Santa cannot attend the party week, we are hoping that he will be able to leave some gifts for all our children to enjoy!

Dear Parent’s & Carers

The children have noticed a change in the weather and that the leaves are falling off the trees.  We will be exploring the world around us during autumn by providing lots of fun activities to allow the children to engage and develop.

A home link activity that you could do at home with your child is to go for a walk or if you are taking a drive in the car look at the changes in the environment.  For example the leaves changing colour, talk about the change in weather, what’s happening in the fields/farms near us, look out for some bushes that have rasperries/blackberries growing on them and there are apples ready to drop off the trees.

Have lots of fun and we can share our information at grouptime.
