We have been keeping busy in nursery enjoying the nice weather and spending time outside. Some children have had the opportunity to visit the Range Park playing on the different apparatus. These visits will continue over the next few weeks.
Continuing with our growing topic the some children planted seeds which will go outside when they have germinated. The seeds included peppers, tomatoes and melon. They are learning how to look after living things.
Our children love to play out in the Nursery garden. Â They like to mark make with chalk, ride the big wheeled toys and play in the water and sand.
We are currently developing our Nursery garden and would welcome any help from our parents and carers. If you would like to offer any help please speak to us in the Nursery, it would be much appreciated 🙂

Building a story den
Our children have been out into the community visiting the shop and the Open Door Cafe. Â They have talked about road safety and the importance of having good manners when they are visitors.
In Nursery we know how important it is to keep our bodies healthy. Â We are really enjoying brushing our teeth and singing our special Nursery song.
We have enjoyed looking at spring flowers, particularly the daffodils. We have been creating pictures and models of flowers.
