The children have been enjoying spending time in the snow sledging, making a snowman and throwing snowballs.

The children have been busy developing their learning by participating in a variety of activities in the nursery.

Some children helped make pizza for snack, others chose materials to collage with and draw pictures and some joined in with action songs on the Smartboard.

Some children took part in a walk to our local woods to look for signs of Autumn. As it was numeracy week we also took the opportunity to look for numbers in the environment such as wheelie bin numbers, car registration numbers and road signs. At the woods the children enjoyed finding different leaves, twigs and tree seeds such as conkers and acorns. They are developing their mathematical language by talking about big, small, thick and thin
