NEW YOUNG SCOT APP

There is now a Young Scot app which can be downloaded to the young person’s phone at
https://young.scot. The Young Scot card can then be linked to the app to take advantage of
exciting features including:

 *The ability to order a replacement Young Scot National Entitlement Card through the app for
anyone over the age of 12.
 *A digital card within the app that will allow young people to access ‘show and go discounts’
in stores
 *A ‘Near Me’ interactive map of discounts in their local area and beyond.

However, the physical card must still be used for free bus travel and proof of age.

For any young person who does not yet have a Young Scot card, please visit the council’s
website at www.westlothian.gov.uk/young-scot-card where you will find out more information and details on how to apply.

Please email YoungScot@westlothian.gov.uk if you have any questions.

Lendrick Muir Day 2

12.3.24

The children were up bright and early ready for the fun activities to begin! Delicious cereal and toast for breakfast before heading out for activities.

Today they took part in

  • Leap of Faith (high ropes)
  • Pizza box (high ropes)
  • Challenge Course and
  • Archery

Lots of fun was had and personal targets met! They have been focusing on resilience and team building at their time at camp and are all achieving huge success here!

Dinner was sausage/roast chicken or chickpea stew followed by Oreo cheesecake! Plenty of clean plates tonight (and some had second helpings).

Tonight’s activity was a murder mystery and the house was taken over by budding actors (teachers and pupils) in the roles of the Mowbray house and staff! The detectives moved around interviewing suspects before casting their verdict! Oscar worthy performances by all!

Supper time now before heading up to bed!

Another fantastic day at Lendrick Muir!

Goodnight, P7
