P6 had a fantastic time at Broxburn Academy participating in the cluster science and technology day. Â They took part in a variety of experiments and enjoyed the opportunity to use different equipment.
P6 visited local war graves as part of their WW1 topic. Â They learned how to use a map and locate specific graves. Â To show their respect to all soldiers who fought and died, the class laid a handmade poppy wreath. Â Everyone contributed in creating the wreath.
P6 loved participating in the cluster cross country competition. Â All the children did really well to participate and finish the race. Â A huge well done to Athena for coming in second place in the girls race!
P6 enjoyed a visit from Elle’s Papa as part of our Passchendaele and WW1 topic. Â He brought in a lot of resources for the children to look at, handle and try on. Â The children found his visit very informative and it really helped their learning. Â A huge thank you from Primary 6.
