Both P6 classes took part in a virtual lesson from Museum Services this week all about the Victorians. They learned about a typical Victorian day, looked at a collection of artifacts and clothing and also learned about the types of jobs children would have had to do back then. A very informative session. Thank you Museum Services.
P6H has been learning about Scottish landscapes and they have been learning how to use different kinds of maps. They have been using ordnance survey maps and using the key to identify different features.
Today we were learning about prime numbers and used Cuisenaire Rods to help us understand the concept. Good work P6H.

We have been learning about badminton in PE. We learned how to use the forehand grip and serve. Our topic is Vikings. They were warriors and also traders. We are also learning about their food and we know that Viking helmets don’t have horns.
