Early Years Activities Monday 2nd June

Good Morning and hope you are all keeping well and safe. Here are some activities you could try at home this week.

Here are a few exercises you could try. Remember it is good to exercise to keep healthy and these can be done at home.

Song of the week: 5 Currant Buns

You could draw and cut out 5 currant buns to use along with the song. You could also ask a grown up for some pennies to use to buy a bun.

To help with fine motor skills you could help prepare a snack by spreading butter/ jam or cheese spread on bread, toast or crackers.

Days of the week.  How many days are in a week? Can you say them in order?

There is a song to help learn them.  (Tune: Addams Family)

Days of the week (Clap, clap)

Days of the week (Clap, clap)

Days of the week, Days of the week, Days of the week (Clap, clap).

There’s Monday and there’s Tuesday, there’s Wednesday and there’s Thursday,

There’s Friday and there’s Saturday and Sundays at the end.

Days of the week (Clap, clap)

Days of the week (Clap, clap)

Days of the week, Days of the week, Days of the week (Clap, clap).

(Repeat)

We hope you enjoy trying some of these activities and please send any photos or pictures to your Learning Journal. We really enjoy seeing how you are getting on.

Thank You, ELC Team
