Frida Kahlo reading comprehension
Good morning and well done to those of you who shared your art work so far. We’ve enjoyed looking at your lovely creations and we’re pleased to see some of you have also started writing your own invitations for Friday’s art gallery.
Today, read the information passage about one of my favourite artists, Frida Kahlo. Then use the questionnaire to answer some questions about the artist. This will help tomorrow when we look at writing a short fact file for one of the artists on the weekly grid (or you can choose to write about a different artists if you’d prefer).

You can also continue to choose any of the options on the art grids to complete. So far, at home, we’ve looked at Paul Klee and Steven Brown, and later today we’re hoping to look at Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Bridget Riley. I can recommend wearing an art top or apron!

I really like the surveys/questionnaires! Let’s me see how much she took in from reading it☺️
That’s really good to know, thank you! It’s a very handy tool. Great feedback 😀
I suppose it allows you to see how they are doing too. Yeah it is a great layout too, so simple for her to read and complete independently😃
Yes, a quiz for them, assessment for us. Glad it’s working. Thank you 😀
Cameron enjoyed the questionnaire. He took notes whilst reading which was very impressive also allows me to see how much he has taken in. He seemed to enjoy this task very much.
Well done for taking notes and using them to help answer questions – an impressive skill!
