Primary 2 Assembly!

Primary 2 did a fabulous assembly on sharing stories on Friday 1st May.

May 2015 is National Share a Story Month and Primary 2 love reading and stories! We wanted to share our enthusiasm for stories  with the rest of the school and our parents.

During our assembly we met Goldilocks, Mr Gumpy and even the Gruffalo! He was very scary! The children learned a fabulous dance and entertained everyone with this at the end!

Well done Primary 2! You worked hard!!

P2/3 Egg drop challenge!

We were set a challenge by Dr. TG to create a container to protect an egg dropped from a set height. We were to use our learning on gravity to help us create our containers. Some of our containers had parachutes, some had extra padding inside and some made sure the egg couldn’t move around inside.

Here are our photos to show our creations and our testing:

P1s – Spring has sprung

We have been looking for signs of Spring and are in the process of creating a Spring display.

We have been busy making hand print sunflowers, paper plate butterflies and writing what we see in Spring.

A photo of our finished wall display will be added soon.

P3/4 Assembly

Hope you all had a lovely long weekend!  I look forward to practising songs and lines for our class assembly.  Remember to look for an item of purple clothing at home to bring into school.  See  you tomorrow, Mrs BP.
