Please save anything you work on and bring it in to show me.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>1. Numeracy<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Usually at this time we&#8217;d probably be finishing CLIC. Since we&#8217;re not, why don&#8217;t you test a family member.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Can they <strong>round<\/strong> to the <strong>nearest thousand, ten thousand<\/strong> or <strong>hundred thousand<\/strong>?<\/li>\n<li>Can they <strong>round<\/strong> to <strong>1 decimal place<\/strong> or <strong>2\u00a0 decimal places<\/strong>?<\/li>\n<li>Can they complete a <strong>multiplication card<\/strong>?<\/li>\n<li>Can you teach them the<strong> GRID method<\/strong> for multiplying?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>2. Balanced Arguments<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>West Lothian Council made a tough decision in the early hours of this morning. <strong>They closed ALL the schools!<\/strong>\u00a0What arguments would they have considered <strong>for <\/strong>and <strong>against<\/strong> doing this?<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>3. World Book Day<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s World Book Day tomorrow.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Dig out those book swap books and read them for one last time!<\/li>\n<li>Or you could read to a parent or sibling.<\/li>\n<li>Why don&#8217;t you use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kiddle.co\/\"><strong>kiddle<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to research what a <strong>Thundersnow<\/strong> is?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>4. Weather Watch<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Will the weather forecast be accurate? Is it all cold air?<\/p>\n<p>Use this form (<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/public\/torontops\/uploads\/sites\/22\/2018\/02\/p7-weather-watch.docx\">p7 weather watch<\/a>) to compare what the Met Office and BBC Weather have predicted for today.
