{"id":9039,"date":"2015-12-04T16:22:13","date_gmt":"2015-12-04T16:22:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/?p=9039"},"modified":"2015-12-04T21:37:58","modified_gmt":"2015-12-04T21:37:58","slug":"dissolving-or-melting-in-p5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/wl\/stniniansps\/2015\/12\/04\/dissolving-or-melting-in-p5\/","title":{"rendered":"Dissolving or melting in P5?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was St Andrew&#8217;s day on Monday and we all took some time to revise our knowledge about St Andrew. \u00a0We watched a short video clip and then using our <em>Letterjoin<\/em> handwriting copied some information into our jotter. \u00a0We drew the Saltire flag and now fully understand how our flag represents our Patron Saint St Andrew.<\/p>\n<p>In our Science we started to discuss dissolving. \u00a0Many children talked about how sugar will MELT in the water, this raised the question is melting and dissolving the same thing?
