We have enjoyed learning about Scotland and Scottish Culture this week in P1D. We made our very own tartan, listened to, learned about bagpipes and\u00a0pretended we had our own pipe band\u00a0and learned some scots language.<\/p>\n\n
We had another unexpected visitor this week! We came in to school on Thursday to find a Christmas tree AND Elf shoes!! We think he was in a rush and left his shoes behind by accident. We wrote stories about what we though he would do on his day off. Our imaginative ideas were great. Marcus thought he would have a rest to recharge his batteries, Zoe thought he would go bowling with his friends and Chloe thought he would go to a disco and dance to Christmas music. We decided it would be a good idea to set up a camera again to see if we could find out who the shoes belonged to. We will post the video evidence on the school Facebook page!<\/p>\n\n
In Maths we have been doing lots of work using mathematical language, more than, less than or equal to. We loved using Ally the\u00a0Alligators mouth to help us learn about the more than and less than signs.<\/p>\n\n
We are very excited for next week as it is Nativity week! We can’t wait!!<\/p>\n
