This week has been awesome!<\/p>\n
We have been learning all about the Phases of the Moon. \u201cThere are 8 phases of the Moon\u201d said Evie. Here are some of the names that we have learned this week. \u201cThe Crescent\u201d said Mark, \u201cThe Full Moon\u201d said Brooke, \u201cThe New Moon\u201d said Hannah and \u201cThe Gibbous\u201d\u201d said Shannon.<\/p>\n
We now know that we see bright parts of the Moon\u2019s surface at different angles and these are the different Phases of the Moon.<\/p>\n
We have also been exploring our class novel \u2018The Twits\u2019 using our task map. In chapter 5 \u2018The Glass Eye\u2019 Mrs Twit puts her glass eye in Mr Twit\u2019s beer glass. \u201cIt was kind of weird but very funny.\u201d said Hannah. Isabella said \u201cIt was funny but yuck\u201d<\/p>\n
So in our \u2018Create Something Great\u2019 task we had to think of a nasty trick that we would play on Mr Twit. Here are some of our nasty ideas:<\/p>\n
Gabriella said \u201cI would strap bombs at the bottom of his chair and then BOOM!\u201d<\/p>\n
Rachel said \u201cI would give him a jacket to wear with slime from a slug on the inside. Then when Mr Twit would sit down he would have slime on his clothes.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ailie said \u201cI would put a blind fold on Mr Twit and then push him out of the window.\u201d<\/p>\n
Aidan said \u201cI would dig a hole in the front garden and put pretend grass over the hole. Then Mr Twit would walk over the grass and fall down the hole.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jacob said \u201cI would put down a trick tile so that when Mr Twit stands on it 1000 robots would come and attack him.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jay said \u201cI would put Mrs Twit\u2019s eye on his toothbrush and then he would have invisible slime in his mouth.”<\/p>\n
Watch out Mrs Purdie primary 3\/4 have a trick up their sleeve.<\/p>\n
