Overview<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

This week we focused on the features of descriptive writing and some pupils chose to use our learning during Free Writing Friday today.<\/p>\n

\u2018Bear Time Reading\u2019 was introduced and allows pupils to choose something to read, get comfortable and read with a teddy. We want to do this every Friday.<\/p>\n

We are finishing our focus on addition for numeracy and continuing to explore time for mathematics.<\/p>\n

Pupil voice<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Lucas \u2013 We did our class song. I like that our school\u2019s name is in it.<\/p>\n

Lucy \u2013 I liked in maths when we had a sum and there was a missing number in it and we worked it out.<\/p>\n

Mara \u2013 We learned the \u2018oi\u2019 and \u2018oy\u2019 sound.<\/p>\n

Cordelle \u2013 There are two ways to spell that sound.<\/p>\n

Anna \u2013 I liked Irish dancing after school this week.<\/p>\n

Pati \u2013 We went to the library. We listened to a story.<\/p>\n

Paul \u2013 In P.E. we were climbing on monkey bars.<\/p>\n

Emilie \u2013 I liked doing our writing. We imagined a new person coming to join our class.<\/p>\n

Liam \u2013 I liked Free Writing Friday because I wrote about my sister. It\u2019s her birthday.<\/p>\n

Shea \u2013 I liked reading. I love getting a new book.<\/p>\n

Logan \u2013 I liked Irish dancing too. We learned our Irish skips.<\/p>\n

Luke \u2013 I liked doing reading. We got a new book this week.<\/p>\n

Rojin \u2013 I liked doing the nativity practice.<\/p>\n

Jane \u2013 I liked writing about stuff we chose for Free Writing Friday.<\/p>\n

Connor \u2013 I liked our new maths cards that we can choose and mark ourselves. I like doing lots of numbers.<\/p>\n

Amelia \u2013 We were allowed to choose what to write about.<\/p>\n

Freya \u2013 I liked writing today because I wrote about friends.<\/p>\n

Joshua \u2013 I liked finishing our bonfire art pictures.<\/p>\n

Roma \u2013 I wrote about Pudsey today because today is Children in Need.<\/p>\n

Scott \u2013 I went to mini football yesterday and we played tig and football. I love it.<\/p>\n
