We had our first week of the second term this week ad made our new topic plan together for the \u2018Local Area\u2019 topic. We also planned ahead for our enterprise for the Christmas Fair and decided what we are going to make and sell at it.<\/p>\n
Some pupil highlights are below:<\/p>\n
Anna \u2013 We learned the \u2018ay\u2019 sound.<\/p>\n
Liam \u2013 The \u2018ay\u2019 sound is in the vowel house. It goes at the end of a word.<\/p>\n
Amelia \u2013 The \u2018ai\u2019 is in the middle of a word and \u2018ay\u2019 at the end.<\/p>\n
Scott \u2013 I like building with 3D shapes yesterday.<\/p>\n
Lucy \u2013 I liked doing writing. We wrote about our missing Worry Monster.<\/p>\n
Rojin \u2013 We are counting in 5s and 10s.<\/p>\n
Cordelle \u2013 The 5s all end in a 5 or a 0.<\/p>\n
Michelle \u2013 We are doing PM Writing and we are reading a story in it called \u2018The New Girl\u2019.<\/p>\n
Mara \u2013 We also are counting in 2s a lot so we remember.<\/p>\n
Pati \u2013 I loved PE. We went to the jungle and had to go through tunnels.<\/p>\n
Lucas \u2013 In PE we had to swing on stuff and jump over hurdles.<\/p>\n
Emilie \u2013 We did sentences filled with \u2018ay\u2019 words.<\/p>\n
Shea \u2013 I like counting in 10s. It\u2019s just easy because they all end in a 0.<\/p>\n
Celine \u2013 We made our own clouds to show we are different.<\/p>\n
Roma \u2013 We did free writing for today because it is Friday and I wrote about a pumpkin.<\/p>\n
Jane \u2013 I wrote about Halloween and drew colourful pictures to match.<\/p>\n
