This week we have had an investigation afternoon, practised our new sound in different ways and did lots of little activities for Maths Week Scotland.<\/p>\n
Some pupil highlights are below:<\/p>\n
Pati \u2013 We made hot chocolate because our topic is water.<\/p>\n
Paul \u2013 We painted our \u2018aw\u2019 words using little dots.<\/p>\n
Emilie \u2013 Learning about the \u2018aw\u2019 sound was good. We did rainbow writing and we used little sticky things to paint our words.<\/p>\n
Roma \u2013 I liked when we made clouds using jars and shaving foam.<\/p>\n
Scott \u2013 We used that to learn about rain.<\/p>\n
Lucy \u2013 I liked when we were seeing if things could float or sink in water.<\/p>\n
Liam \u2013 This week I liked doing Number Talks. We did doubles and talked about near doubles.<\/p>\n
Anna \u2013 I like doing the rain cloud. We filled a jar with water and then made a foamy cloud and added blue rain.<\/p>\n
Rojin \u2013 I liked the \u2018aw\u2019 sound and rainbow writing.<\/p>\n
Michelle\u00a0 – I liked doing writing. We wrote a poem about water using our 5 senses.<\/p>\n
Shea \u2013 Floating and sinking was fun. Little logs floated.<\/p>\n
Joshua \u2013 I liked the sinking and floating. Plastic bottles floated too.<\/p>\n
Logan \u2013 We learned about rain clouds through making some.<\/p>\n
Freya \u2013 We were doing this thing where we had a piece of paper and we were trying to fill it out with \u2018aw\u2019 words and pictures.<\/p>\n
