This week we had a very very fun week in P5.<\/p>\n
In writing this week we wrote character descriptions about another Awful Aunt for James from our class novel. We had to use similes, metaphors and adjectives to create a clear picture of our character.<\/p>\n
\u201cI liked doing writing because making the character mean and weird was really funny!\u201d \u2013 Wojtek<\/p>\n
\u201cI liked writing because it was fun trying to use similes and metaphors!\u201d \u2013 Ahmed<\/p>\n
\u201cI liked writing about the horrible aunties!\u201d \u2013 Madison<\/p>\n
We have tried a new way of working smart starts, there will always be 4 activities and we can ick which one we want to go to. Every day we must choose a different station so that by the end of the week we have had a chance at doing them all.<\/p>\n
\u201cI really enjoyed doing smart starts, especially using the stile boards and construction!\u201d \u2013 Angelina<\/p>\n
\u201cI liked using the construction in my smart start!\u201d \u2013 Oma<\/p>\n
In art, we have been learning about tinting and shading. We had 6 original colours and we experimented with white and black paint and mixing them together to create lighter and darker shades of colours.<\/p>\n
\u201cI really liked art because it was fun!\u201d \u2013 Julia<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was very fun doing it and I had a good time!\u201d \u2013 Maeve.<\/p>\n
In music this week, we had Mrs Nichol as our teacher.\u00a0 We played fun games to get to know each other and sang songs.<\/p>\n
\u201cI liked doing music when we had to do a hand clap game.\u201d \u2013 Alishba<\/p>\n
\u201cI liked playing hot potato!\u201d \u2013 Madison<\/p>\n
